There are at present 3 Chief Engineers of Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) cadre [CE(C)MTP, CE(C)SOUTH & CE(C)NORTH], 2 Chief Signal & Telecommunication Engineers [CSTE(C)-I & CSTE(C)-II], 1 Chief Electrical Engineer [CEE(C)] and 2 Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officers [FA&CAO(C)-I & FA&CAO(C)-II] working under CAO(C).
