CENTRAL RAILWAY IS DIVIDED IN FIVE DIVISIONS
1. MUMBAI DIVISION
This Division is having its Head office at Mumbai CST and presently is headed by Shri Alok Bohra Sr.DSC/RPF. The largest and most important Division of the Zone is having the Jurisdictionfrom CSTM ( 0 KM) to Igatpuri (137 KM) towards East, upto Lonavla (excl) (128 KM), upto Khopoli (115 KM) , Rohe (144 KM), JNPT (93 KM), Jasai (84 KM), Uran ( 95 KM) towards south & upto Vasai Road (84 KM) towards north. The total route KM of this division is BG - 504 KM & NG - 20.29 KM = 524.37 KM with 73 Stations.There are 26 RPF Posts & 08 Out-Posts.
2. BHUSAWAL DIVISION This Division is having its head office at Bhusawal and presently is headed by Shri. K.Laxma Naik, DSC/RPF. The jurisdiction of this Division is extends in Maharashtra and a small part of Madhya Pradesh which starts from Igatpuri (excl.) 137 KM to Khandwa (incl), Badnera (Incl.) Branch lines from Chalisgaon to Dhule, Pachora to Jamner, (N.G), from Jalamb to Khamgoan, Achalpur toYeotmal (N.G) and Badnera to Amravati. The total Route KM of the Divn. is BG -742.71 & NG - 243.90, Total = 986.61 KMs with 121 Stations.There are 13 RPF Posts & 04 Out-Posts
3. NAGPUR DIVISION
This division is having its head office at Nagpur presently is headed by Shri. A.Ibrahim Sheriff Sr. DSC/RPF. This Division is having jurisdiction from Badnera (excl) 665 KM to Nagpur 836.79 KM, Itarsi to Ballarsha via Nagpur and Sewagram. Branch lines from Pulgaon to Arvi, Sewagran to Chitoda, Amla to Junnardeo. The total route KM of this Divn. is BG 859.42 + NG 34.42= 893.84 KM with 102 Stations.here are 08 RPF Posts & 04 Out-Posts.
4. SOLAPUR DIVISION
This division is having its head office at Solapur, and at present it is headed by Shri K.K.Sharma, DSC/RPF. The jurisdiction of Solapur Division starts from Daund to Wadi (incl). From Daund to Manmad (excl), Latur to Miraj via Kurduwadi andPandharpur, Solapur to Hotgi. The total route KM of this Division is BG 801.53 & NG 137.19 = of 932.72 Kms with 106 Stations.There are 06 RPF Posts & 06 Out-Posts.
5. PUNE DIVISION
The Division is having its Head office at Pune and at presently headed by Shri. Ashok Singh DSC/RPF. This Division is having jurisdiction from Lonavala (excl) to Daund (excl), Daund to Baramati (42.6) and Pune to Kolhapur via Miraj. The total route KM of this Divn is 505.17 Km with 78 Stations.There are 06 RPF Posts & 06 Out-Posts.
