Coaching is primarily responsible for maintenance of Rolling Stock : Passenger Carrying Vehicles and Other Coaching Vehicles.

Central Railway is having ownership of 3492 coaches and runs 144 pairs of trains with the help of 185 rakes which includes:

  • 81 pairs of Mail / Express / Duronto trains

  • 63 pairs of Passenger trains
