Survey completed beyond Igatpuri towards Khandesh-Berar.

1860

:

BHUSAVAL Station building constructed (single platform).

1861

:

Igatpuri - Nayadongri opened on 8th JAN.

 

:

Nayadongri - BHUSAVAL opened on 1st OCT.

1866

:

BHUSAVAL-Khandwa opened.

1867

:

BHUSAVAL-Badnera opened as single line.

1900

:

Dhule–Chalisgaon opened as single line.

 

:

Jalamb-Khamgaon opened as single line.

1911

:

BHUSAVAL Station second platform constructed.(The existing DN platform).

1914

Murtizapur-Achalpur/Yavatmal narrow gauge opened.

BHUSAVAL Steam Loco Shed setup.

1920

BHUSAVAL Division formed under G.I.P. Railway.

BHUSAVAL-Badnera Doubling of track completed.

Khandwa Station building electrified.

BHUSAVAL Yard remodeling started.

BHUSAVAL - Central Railway Zonal Training School setup.

BHUSAVAL Yard 1st remodeling completed.

1968

BHUSAVAL-Igatpuri – Signalling switched over from TALQ (Two Aspect Lower Quadrant) to MACLS (Multi Aspect Colour Light Signalling)

 

:

BHUSAVAL Electric Loco Shed setup.

1969

:

Igatpuri-BHUSAVAL section Electrified with 25 KV AC Traction.

1972

:

BHUSAVAL Electric Loco Shed started functioning.

1981

:

BHUSAVAL - Chord Line constructed.

1990

:

BHUSAVAL-Badnera section Electrified with 25 KV AC Traction. – Signalling switched over from TALQ to MACLS.

1992

:

BHUSAVAL-Khandwa section Electrified with 25 KV AC Traction. - Signalling switched over from TALQ to MACLS.

1993

:

BHUSAVAL-Bhadli Automatic Block Signalling commissioned.

 

:

BHUSAVAL-Steam Loco shed closed. Last Steam Loco withdrawn on 16th December.

1995

:

BHUSAVAL-Route Relay Interlocking commissioned(JAN).

1996

:

Bhadli-Jalgaon Automatic Block Signalling commissioned(JAN).

1997

:

Manmad Yard Remodeling.Panel Commissioned (MAR).

1998

:

Jalgaon Panel Commissioned. Panewadi oil siding (BPCL) Commissioned.

2000

:

Khandwa Yard Remodeling.Panel Commissioned (MAR).

2001

:

Kajgaon Panel Commissioned. (DEC)

2002

:

NandgaonDN Yard Remodelling, MZR, SS & AV Panel commissioned.

2003

BHUSAVAL Passenger Yard Remodelling.

2005

:

LS Yard Remodeling, VNA,SEG, NR, HPR, LSPanel Commissioned.

2006

:

HSL, OD & NI Panel Commissioned.

2007

:

RWC at Nasik Road and Badnera commissioned.

 

:

Panel Interlocking work along with Yard remodeling at Nandgaon completed.

 

2008

:

Centralized Information Centre has been commissioned at Nasik Road.

 

 

:

FOIS based Crew Management System implemented in Driver & Guards’ Lobbies at Badnera, Khandwa, Bhusaval (Passenger), Bhusaval (Goods), Nandgaon,

 

Manmad and Igatpuri in February’08.

 

 

:

Round the clock working introduced at Amravati and Dhule goods sheds from 20/3/2008.

 

 

:

New PRS building at Nasik Road commissioned.

 

:

New train No. 1025 Nasik Road - Pune introduced from 31-3-2008.

 

:

Additional rail level full rake handling facility added in Jalgaon Goods Shed, bringing the total capacity to 2½rakes.

 

 

:

Panel Interlocking work along with Yard remodeling for 24-coach Platform completed at Chalisgaon.

 

 

:

Section Control Boards viz. BSL–NGN, NGN-IGP and BSL–BD have been computerized under Control Office Application (COA) programme, developed by CRIS, being all 4 Boards, including KNW-BSL on COA.

 

 

:

IBS in Pachora-Galan section. Galan –Nagardeola section commissioned

 

:

Introduction of three New trains:

- 2111/2112 Amravati-Mumbai CST (Bi-weekly) Express from 7/9/2008.

- 2119/2120 Amravati-Nagpur (5 days) Intercity Express from 8/9/2008.

- 125/126 Amravati-Surat (Bi-weekly) Fast Passenger from 8/9/2008.

 

:

UTS-cum-PRS have been commissioned at five locations viz. Karanja, Niphad, Lasalgaon, Nandgaon and Jamner in Sept’08.This facility had been commissioned at Raver on 18/2/2008. Thus, all the six UTS-cum-PRS locations Phase-III have been completed.

 

 

:

IBS in Chalisgaon-Vaghli section, Shirsoli-Mhasawad section ,Mhasawad-Maheji section, Vaghli-Kajgaon section, Hirapur-Nyadongari section commissioned

 

2009

:

RRI Badnera has been commissioned on 17/01/2009.

 

:

IBS in Nayadongari-Pimperkhed section, in Pimperkhed-Nandgaon section

 

 

:

UTS at Varangaon, Achegaon, Bodwad, Khumgaon-Burti and Biswa-Bridge, all ‘E’ class stations, commissioned on 23/1/2009 under UTS Phase-III.

 

 

:

Foundation Stone for Wardha-Yavatmal-Pusad-Nanded new Rail Line was laid at Yavatmal on 11/2/2009 by Shri Lalu Prasad, Hon’ble Minister for Railways.

 

 

:

UTS at 10 ‘E’ class stations, commissioned in March’09 under UTS Phase-III.

 

 

:

IBS in Ghoti-Igatpuri section, Odha-Nasik section commissioned on 6/3/2009.

 

:

UTS at Shirsoli commissioned on 30/5/2009.

 

:

UTS at 18 ‘E’ class stations viz. Mhasawad, Maheji, Pardhade, Kajgaon, Vaghli, Hirapur, Bhadli, Galan, Niphad, Pimperkhed, Panjan, Hisval, Summit, Bagmar, Dongargaon, Mandwa, Ugaon, Kasbe-Sukene commissioned in June’09.

 

 

:

Round-the-clock working started at Kherwadi Goods shed from 7/6/2009. (Total 11 Goods Sheds)

 

 

 

 

:

UTS at 19 ‘E’ class stations viz. Kherwadi, Lahavit, Odha, Asvali, Ghoti, Kurum, Asirgarh, Chandni, Waghoda, Takali, Nagardeola, Jamdha, Borgaon, Shirud, Yavatmal, Dharwa Motibagh, Ankai, Anjangaon, Banosa has been commissioned in July’09. With this, all the 54 ‘E’ class stations have been covered by 31/7/2009.

 

 

 

:

TMS (Terminal Management System) has been commissioned in August’09 at Orient Cement Siding, Bhadli, BESG Siding, Paras and Nasik Road, Manmad, Nandgaon, Kherwadi Goods Sheds, under Roll out of TMS Phase-I

 

 

:

TMS (Terminal Management System) has been commissioned in Sept’09 at Paras MSEB siding, Nandgaon Goods Shed and Kherwadi Goods Shed.

 

 

:

IPS commissioned at two locations between Ghoti-Padli & Asvali-Lahavit IBH in Sept’09.

 

 

:

L/C Gate No. 1 (Kms 449/0-2 on NH-6) between BSL-VNA closed permanently on 21/10/2009.

 

 

:

Newly constructed PRS and computerized current Booking Office building at Burhanpur has been commissioned on 15/11/2009.

 

 

:

Round-the-clock working has been introduced at Manmad Goods Shed from 17th Nov’09. Thus a total of 12 Goods sheds over the division have been covered under round-the-clock working.
